Extra/Optional Charges
We strongly recommend the purchase of Optional Excess Waiver (OEW) shown above. Without this, you would have to pay compulsory excess in the event of damage/theft to a Hertz car regardless of who is at fault. OEW is only available if purchased in advance.
Airport service charge of $30.00 is payable locally for all rentals starting or ending at Ben Gurion Airport, TelAviv.
Minimum rental age is 21 years.Renters between the age of 21-23 can drive groups A,B,C, O &L and there is an extra charge of $12 per day payable locally.Minimum age for groups Z,T,P & W is 25 years.
Baby seats available on request for an additional charge of $3 per day, additional driver $2 per day, optional personal accident insurance(PAI) $3 per day.All payable locally.
The following deductible (excess) amount is applicable in all cases of damage/theft to a Hertz car: Groups A,B,C,L & O: $375; Groups E,F,X: $450; Groups H,I & Z: $500; Groups P & T: $600. Optional Excess Waiver can be purchased at time of booking.
A $30 delivery/collection charge is applicable for all rentals starting or ending at Ovda Airport and/or Hussein Bridge and $10 at the Arava border, payable locally.Rentals to/from Eilat less than 3 days are subject to a $100 drop-off charge.
If the car is returned more than 1 hour late, each extra hour is charged at 1/3 of a day.
NOTES / CONDITIONS
All cars are air-conditioned except Group A.
All cars from Group B upwards have power steering.
Mobile phones are available free of charge from Group C upwards.Charges are for calls only - paid locally.
Hertz reserves the right to substitute cars shown with similar models.
All drivers must present, on collection of vehicle, a valid driving licence (in their possession for over a year), plus a non-Israeli passport and credit card.One rental day is 24 hours.
